Tates Creek Christian Church is the most welcoming, loving, Gospel centered church I’ve ever been to. I’ve been going to Tates Creek for 6 months now and have never felt so loved. God is doing wonderful things through the people here! The music is outstanding, the sermons are always so impactful that I listen to them two or three times online throughout the week, and it’s very easy to get involved here and make friends because everyone is so kind and excited to welcome new people. 10/10 recommend no matter what age you are, but I would especially recommend this church to someone with kids because the youth ministry is amazing❤️ Victory for Life Ministry!! Thanks to Mr Larry, and Mr Don and Sharon!! Thank you to those who prepare and serve the food! Thanks for the revival of faith that I have lost! Anyone knows that a lot of churches say " Come as you are" ! Most lock the door when they see your homeless! This little program I only just today learned of ! What a welcoming group of people!! I pray that God blesses each of you for the open door you provide for those who are trodden and troubled!! Absolutely the best church I have ever been apart of. They minister to all the generations with their Traditional and Contemporary Services. Their Youth and Children's Ministers are all in and truly love my kids. The Senior Minister is approachable and friendly. They are currently remodeling the church to better prepare for the future. They are doing great things for the community. I mean they are hitting on all cylinders. I would highly recommend coming and checking out this Church Family! For about 6 months we visited several churches in Lexington. During our search, we would visit each church for about 6 weeks to get a feel about the church, the minister and if we felt it was a good match for our family. Luckily, our search lead us to Tates Creek Christian Church. We love the minister, Tommy Simpson. We love the youth ministry. We love the "feel" of the church and how nice and inviting the members were to us! Tates Creek Christian Church offers two services, the 1st is a traditional format starting at 9:30 am and the second is a more contemporary/blended format starting at 11:00am. Sunday school classes are available at either hour and there are a lot to choose from. If you are looking for a church to call home, I would suggest you come visit Tates Creek Christian Church. You will be glad you did! I have been a member of this congregation since 1997 and have been blessed above and beyond all expectations. The love of the people and their dedication to service to others make it a shining example of Jesus Christ. The church is dedicated to being a light and home to those searching for a warm welcome and a place to serve.
