Great church. Very welcoming. My kids the the youth ministry. This church has brought so much redemption into my life. Being a person in the lgbtq+ community with religious trauma, I was very skeptical to come back to a church. The first service I went to spoke upon lgbtq inclusion trans rights, and most importantly: living like Jesus. Sermons topics range from disability rights, racial justice and equality, immigration, supporting women’s choice, and dismantling harmful evangelical teachings that have hurt so many communities. Middletown makes it clear what side of history they are on. To me they live out the love of Christ. The mosaic ministry, helping to provide support to families of those with disabilities is another thing I love about this church. If you are skeptical of God’s love like I was, give this church a try. :) My husband and I started 6 weeks ago. Have very much enjoyed the services. Tonight 12/8/24. The musical was awesome. Very much enjoyed it. Do you all have lady Bible Studies once a month? My wife and I attended the 11;10 service on spring forward Sunday as we are looking for a House of Worship close to home. We were greeted by Larry while seated as he knew we were first timers at MCC. My wife enjoys church where there is lots of music that is a bit more upbeat and current. This is not a criticism just an observation and a matter of personal opinion. Senior Minister Brian Gerard did a great job in delivering his message with a few good jokes (which I really enjoyed). I was disappointed in the attendance in that the worshippers were a little more seasoned. Where have our younger generations gone? I know MCC will keep up with Gods will as I really respect their view that their Church accepts everyone no matter where they are at. food pantry for Thanksgiving drive thru and lovely people wanting to help out even though it was cold. lovely people with hearts full of love! Thank you so much!
