This church has helped me but made me feel like I was being super judged and looked down upon every time I asked! They made me feel like I was an inconvenience to them I have 9 children and 2 more that I have custody of because their mother just passed away well long story short im in a really bad place in my life this last few years had been challenging I have a son with cancer and a child with autism also 2 grieving children and I have my hands full just caring for all of them making appointments I am barley keeping my lights on and I chose between my water and dinner this week! And I was sent a form for Christmas assistance and I feel these people singled my family out and told me they could not offer any services to help me any more! Probably the most needy family they have ever helped it's really sad that YOu rich people sit and treat a mother thats really struggling g that way ! You are making my children suffer more than anything shame on you! Julie was the best person that your church has ever had!! And since she has left yall are just not the same! I go to church here so I may be biased, but this is the best church I've been to. The services are God-focused and we'll put together, but not too show. The sermons are the best part, getting to hear God's word like I haven't before. I also volunteer with childcare which is always a blessing. Come check us out! Great atmosphere. Awesome caring people. Went to the eyeglass clinic they had last Saturday. Someone from the congregation helped me thru the whole process. She even helped me with my 9 month old while i was having my eye exam. I wouldnt have been able to have the exam without her help. Very nice and caring people at Sojourn East. Solid church, preaching Truth, while also focusing on being a light to the community and celebrating the beauty of God's creation through creative expression. Great children's ministry, as well! This community church has no idea what community means. I have never dealt with any organization who has such disregard for the people in their ‘community’. They are completely disorganized. They do not care how their actions effect the ‘community’ around them. To say they do not ‘practice what they preach’ is an understatement.
