What visitors say

We occasionally attend Red Tree Church when visiting Ann Arbor. Services are held on the University of Michigan campus in the student union building. The facilities used are stately and provide an excellent venue for services. There is signage guiding you to the services… and we always receive a warm greeting upon entry. The congregation is diverse! As my wife and I are both in our 70s… it is very encouraging to see so many young families and students in attendance, along with folks of all ages and backgrounds. Music before and after sermon sets the perfect tone. The pastoral staff does an exceptional job in delivering the message. Thankfully we do not hear therapeutic, feel good, fluff. Sermons are conservative, gospel based, and inspiring. Services are followed by a very nice (provided) brunch that also serves to provide the opportunity to meet and spend time with old and new friends. Christians and folks who are interested in learning more about Christianity, and becoming part of a warm and welcoming community, will value this church. Red Tree is the best part of Ann Arbor. It is a church fiercely devoted to the gospel where community is wonderful and worship is refreshing. We are so excited for Red Tree Church! Our family of 4 have been transformed by the teaching of Ryan McVicar. He teaches the Bible with truth and mercy hand in hand. Ann Arbor you will be part of an amazing work of God by being part of Red Tree!! See you THERE Red Tree Presbyterian Church is a new congregation with biblical, gospel-centered teaching that embraces the community in the truth of Christ. The head pastor has faithfully served as the Christ’s under shepherd in New City for the past 10 years and will continue to follow this calling at Red Tree. If you are looking for a place to worship Christ or even exploring what truth is; this is a welcome place to go. Ann Arbor: consider yourself blessed! Ryan McVicar is a talented, humble church planter who has been used by God to start a church planting movement in the metro Detroit area. I’m excited to see how Gospel proclamation, sound Biblical teaching, and warm community will transform Ann Arbor through Red Tree Church.
