This is a loving, diverse, spirit-filled church with heartfelt worship and biblical preaching and teaching. The community being built is one of love and genuine care. The pastor and first Lady are down to earth. If I lived in the area I would certainly make this home. Fantastic people, great food, and super close to campus so it great for me as a college student at U of M! Dinner after service every week is a huge plus, and I feel the presence of God every time! Love being here!!! This is such a great church to be part of. When I first came to Ann Arbor 7 years ago, I met Pastor and Sis. Burmeister. They are kingdom-minded people who truly love others. When I started attending their church, I could see right away how much they cared for the people of Ann Arbor and for those who were lost. They also began to minister to me personally. I came in with a past full of hurt, shame, and fear, but they showed patience and love, and most importantly, pointed me to the One whose love brings healing, Jesus Christ. If you are looking for a new church but feel hesitant because of past hurts, mistakes, or shame, I encourage you to come. The Lord is here, and this is a loving church ready to welcome you and treat you like family. I recently visited Solid Rock City Church a couple of times and the experience was awesome and the Word was Great and it gave me a reason to want to further my relationship better and closer to Christ. I was prayed over by the Elders and the Holy Spirit flowed tears of happiness what great joy thank you Solid Rock City Church ministries While I haven’t been to the church personally. I have met a few of the folks who attend and serve there. Very friendly, apostolic, Spirit led folks, who love God and love people. If you’re in the area, you will be blessed to be apart of this church.
