What visitors say
This is a small, welcoming congregation that has many benefits typically only found in larger churches. The talent and size of its music/worship team is almost twenty strong with many different instruments played. There is usually a different ecclesiastic bringing their own style and message each Sunday. And the setting inside the Goei Center is breathtaking- it's an old West Side factory turned beautiful event center, and the church rents the space for it's needs. When we arrive on Sunday morning and the band has already begun, we can hear the bass and vocals pouring through the doors and it is energizing! The band plays more contemporary songs but they are so good it is like having a private concert each week! I find myself going to my Amazon account mid-week wanting to hear a song only to realize it is the church band! Went for sunday service. Very relaxed atmosphere and friendly people. This church is different from any church I've ever attended. It's not legalistic and has a good understanding of God's grace and mercy in a very healthy way. I'm actually excited to attend and tell people about my church for the first time in a very long time...... After having attended for a few years now it’s time to update my review. Being from the boomer generation at first DCC was “different” and “untraditional” (however they stick to a correct Biblical Worldview). Their heart towards people is amazing and comforting. If you are looking for Jesus and relationship with Him this is the place to find it. Love it here, I wish I had a ride i would keep going
