Welcome midtown church you get blessed!!! Love Jesus prayers needed for church. We've never felt more at home and welcome in a church than when we first stepped foot into Midtown. The staff, led by Alex and Cassie, were warm, gracious, and friendly- not in that kinda phony feeling "church-y" way- and we were immediately able to have a good, genuine conversation with the people next to us. Shout out Alycia and Jacob for showing how friendly and loving our community is! We came to Midtown after we'd sat out of church for a while- between the pandemic and being hurt a few times by past churches, we were in no rush to be present and a part of any particular church. We decided to give it a try after hearing Cassie give a sermon elsewhere -she and Alex are excellent speakers!- and seeing the radical transparency with which they operate; even and especially down to their finances, which you can see every aspect of on the website. It is so gratifying to see that they walk the walk and work to hide nothing. I sometimes test Alex by asking him 'hard questions' out of the blue and he's always game for a good theological discussion. We look forward to going to church on Sundays to be with God and this loving community. That's as high an endorsement as I can give. Hope to see you there. I have loved attending Midtown church! Everyone is so welcoming and friendly! Midtown is a church where loving God and becoming a loving neighbor is at the center of what they teach. It has a great community of people and each sermon is filled with truth and practical principles on how to live a transformed life. Love Midtown. Glad to call this my home church. The most community that I’ve felt in church in a long time. No church is perfect, but I just love everything about Midtown. The Ferren’s are great leaders that have an authentic heart for the Kansas City area, particularly in the Midtown area. Every Sunday, I leave feeling challenged to love God and love people. In the midweek, Microchurch is an encouraging and fun time with my immediate community, on the Kansas side, of Midtown Church. I love Midtown Church! The people are welcoming and down to earth. It's a great place to build authentic relationships with people and learn more about Jesus!
