After hearing the Lord tell us we needed to move churches (we were driving to Matthews) and to connect with other families in our area we began visiting all of the churches close to our Huntersville home. We liked the churches but one thing was very evident, when you attend a church that has so many people there are 2-4 services you go in, sit and listen, and leave. There was no connection and it felt like being hurded in and out with a few quick hello's and smiles. My husband and I both were unsure and feeling a bit discouraged because we knew the Lord was moving us. We happened to come across Hope Covenant on a google search at 8:00 on a Sunday morning in March of 2025 and decided well lets give it a try. God is so good because the moment we walked through the doors with our 3 children we both felt like we were home. Everyone was so welcoming and genuinely interested in who we were and things about our family. Then worship begins and the anointing and presence of the Lord was amazing. I cried through the entire worship set. Pastor Adam gets up to preach and God just kept confirming this is where I have called you to be. My husband and I both knew it. I am naturally an introverted person so its unusual for me to immediately want to sign up for groups especially with new people but one of the youth pastors announced that His family would be hosting the family life group the next day. I knew we had to get connected and attend the life group so immediately after service I went straight to those pastors and got my family signed up. We have never gone to another church since that Sunday in March of 2025 and we are so thankful that God has brought us to this church family. We have created some wonderful friendships with other families and we love coming each week to Sunday service, discipleship classes, and life group. There is something powerful and special about a church that isn't on a tight schedule and allows the lord to speak and move and have encounters with his people. Worship is aways so beautiful, powerful and anointed. I always sense the Lords presence while singing praises to our Lord and the preaching isn't a tickle your ears message. God is dong amazing things here and he's calling others to come and experience his love and power through fellowship, worship and preaching. I hope you will come and experience the same pure and genuine love and fellowship of Gods children as we gather together to worship our savior. I have been attending this church for several months now. The worship and the Word of God that is preached is so impactful. The worship band is incredible. The best way to describe it is the water is clean here. There is fellowship with new friends and a community of people that truly love one another. We are growing and it’s wonderful to see all these new young families added to the church as well as all age believers. Truly a multi generational church. If your looking for a Family Church and love to serve and help in anyway in ministry Hope Covenant is a people oriented church with the desire to see people free, filled, and flowing with God's Spirit, Power, and Vision. This would be the Church for you Be Blessed Psalm 91 Pastors Adam and Liz are dynamic servants and worship leaders for the Kingdom. It has been a privilege to be along side them at various locations, and to now be a part of their ministry. Hope Covenant is a people oriented church with the desire to see people free, filled, and flowing with God's Spirit, Power, and Vision. What a lovely and friendly church! Come as you are to this small Church full of love and welcoming. The music is spirit filled and so inspiring, and the message from the pastor is heartfelt and sincere. I promise you will feel welcome here.
