I’ve been a member of New Beginnings since 2009. After moving to Charlotte in 1999, I was ready to find a new church home--after spending more than ten years at my previous church. On the very first Sunday of my “new church” search, I visited New Beginnings. The worship and the Word were so powerful that I kept coming back. I never made it to any other churches, and that’s perfectly fine. I know God led me exactly where I needed to be. I’m grateful for my Pastor, Bishop Michael Henderson, and First Lady Rev. Dr. Twanna Henderson. Their leadership has truly shaped my spiritual growth, and they’ve spoken wisdom into my life at pivotal moments—words I know were divinely sent by God. My first visit, I didn't go for a church service. 2/21/2026 But I was invited to see Sarah's Oil. It was a free event, in which they provided snacks/drinks. The atmosphere was friendly. Plenty of parking. The movie was a 5☆. Thank you. Church is growing and keeping the young adults and children in mind. It was sad that a lot of activities and events that were established before Covid had not taken root, restarted or as impactful. I certainly enjoy the service. The people were friendly as they greeted us. We recently moved to NC and happy to attend this church. New Beginning Church is not far removed from the church we attended in Virginia. We will gladly return. Loved it! Excellent pastor and church family.The true word of God is being preached and taught here at New Beginnings. I loved the loving spirit from the church staff. I would advise anyone to attend. God is there, and the atmosphere is loving. I thank God for everyone integrity and love. Beautiful service and church! May God continue to bless New Beginnings.
