I hesitate to rate a church less than 5 stars but about a month ago or so a pastor was preaching and something just didn’t set well inside of me. He went on a tangent about some random podcaster’s and was telling us his/her income. The things he was saying just kinda felt strange to me. I am trying to be nice but I wanted to warn others When I lived in Vegas I was going to Encounter and you most definitely get an Encounter with the HolySpirit, this Church is very Special and unique in the Lord , Enjoy your Encounters with the Lord I do not recommend this church to anyone! I had just moved and was searching for a new church and noticed this church has great reviews. Once service started, worship lasted over 40 minutes accompanied by the lead Pastor. Then, 5 minutes for offerings. Another 10 minutes for information on becoming a volunteer. After almost an hour, the message finally had started with a brief read through from 1 Kings before Pastor Chris decided it was time to talk politics and how he enjoys getting hate on social media. Words he spoke were very hateful towards others and I didn't feel comfortable with all the judgements. Speaking in tongues is also very popular here, everything felt like an act. I am very disappointed that I brought my family here and wish someone would have left a review like this to save us from even coming. Unfortunately, I did not feel God here. Filled with the Spirit. Very welcoming and friendly church. Good worship service. Amazing church! I would move away from Vegas but I don’t think I’d ever find a church community like this. Their worship is genuine and they listen for Holy Spirit and allow Him to move. So if you are used to 6 songs in 30 minutes for worship, their worship might be different. But it’s real. I’ve never felt God’s presence like I do here. Their pastors are so wonderful. The church community is full of wonderful people.
