Grace Church has been such a refreshing change from the typical “concert-style” modern churches. The worship is reverent, the preaching is thoughtful and biblical, and there’s a real sense of history and depth to the place. It feels like church the way church is supposed to feel — focused on God, not production. We’re really grateful to have found it. Seven years ago, my husband and I came for an evening service at Grace PCA, and my heart was truly touched by the beautiful music and heart of the service. It left a huge impact on me. And now, seven years later, we are new members here. Pastor Rhett's preaching is so impactful every Sunday, as he expounds the scriptures to us in such a meaningful way. He truly is a shepherd to those of us in his congregation. He is full of empathy, kindness, and compassion. Each week a family is chosen to be prayed for from the pulpit. We have met many friendly people and have already been invited to someone 's house for a meal. (It helps to make yourself accessible by hanging out in the foyer after the services.) We love the music enhanced with piano and violins, and the choir. Grace is a wonderful church full of wonderful people. The worship style and format is traditional, focusing on the word of God and on prayer. The pastors are kind and compassionate men who treasure the word of God and care diligently for their people. The expository preaching is the best I have ever had the privilege to sit under. The pastor really has a way of taking passages that are sometimes obscure or difficult to understand and pointing them to Christ. Grace Presbyterian Church has been and continues to be a blessing to both my wife and myself. The church is committed to the full inspiration and authority of Scripture as it applies to every area of life. This is a body of God's people where the means of grace are observed including the faithful preaching and teaching of God's Word, the administration of the sacraments, and the exercise of biblical church discipline. The pastor, Rhett Dodson, is very passionate for seeing the Kingdom of God expand throughout the world, and he truly has a pastor's heart for others including this congregation of God's people whom he serves. Throughout the week there are also multiple opportunities for service and fellowship with other members of the congregation. My wife and I began to attend Grace Presbyterian Church in Hudson, a PCA church, in October of 2021. Just recently, we became members. If you are seeking a church that is traditional in its adherence to scripture and biblical preaching and teaching, a church with intentionality to singing hymns and biblically-sound songs of worship, a church whose pastors have a shepherd's heart, a church that provides opportunities every Sunday following the morning worship service for fellowship, and a church that presents and honors Jesus Christ as Savior and King, then you should consider checking out Grace Presbyterian Church in Hudson.
