What visitors say

The 4/26 Sunday service was deeply disturbing. Instead of offering anything resembling spiritual guidance, the sermon leaned into blatant anti-Islam, anti-LGBTQ, and anti-Palestinian rhetoric. It was shocking to see a pastor use the pulpit to demean entire groups of people, and even more troubling to hear parts of the audience applaud it. A place that claims to represent faith should not be promoting division, hostility, and ignorance. This was not thoughtful discourse or theological reflection; it was outright disparagement (and insane). I would strongly warn anyone seeking a respectful, inclusive environment to look elsewhere. I’ve attended Fellowship in Dallas a few times before and always appreciated the worship and warm welcome, but today’s experience was disappointing. I brought a new friend hoping for a great service, but the sermon focused almost entirely on money and financial goals. It felt unbalanced and very off-putting. We left about 25 minutes in, while the pastor was still focused on the topic. Today’s service felt like a financial pitch and not a message from God. I’m concerned about how a first-time visitor might perceive faith from this message. A church always in Downtown Dallas is always very hectic to find a parking spot or too much traffic I love the word of God I just don't like the fact of where it's located They really make you feel wanted, comfortable and worthy. I love the service EVERY TIME. I’ve been attending Fellowship and even served at the Grapevine campus. Currently, I attend services at the Dallas campus. My experience at Grapevine was challenging it led me to take a break because I didn’t want to accept that a church environment could feel like that. At the time, I made excuses for the people, but ultimately, the people are the church. Since then, I’ve moved and began attending the Dallas campus. Unfortunately, I’ve experienced the same kind of disheartening interactions there. One moment that stands out happened on Mother’s Day. I shared part of my story with a young lady, I won’t mention her name, but she wore blue and had dark hair. I won’t go into detail, but I’ll say this: I’d rather have someone see or hear me suffering and do something, than witness it and remain silent. To me, if I’m going to be a sheep in a flock, I want to be under a shepherd who weeps with his people, prays for them, reads and lives the Word, and is willing to fight the enemy on their behalf. I don’t want to be led by someone who watches people struggle and does nothing; someone more concerned with preaching a sermon than caring for the hearts of the people they serve. From these experiences, I’ve realized where my disconnect lies with both campuses. I’ve given Fellowship chance after chance, but it’s time for me to move on.
