What A Welcoming Church With Arms Open Wide To All Walks Of Life. Heard A Timely Message On Fear. Worship Time Takes Others Into A Heavenly Experience! I apologized, I am charging my review. The church got back to me with my question. Thank you. Below was my original review. Original Review: Very disappointed. I was trying to get information about the church with a question. Thinking of a student who is coming from out of state and looking for a church to attend. After taking time to write I didn’t get a reply. I just couldn’t believe it! Unless there is a glitch in their website, I am not trusting them to be there for my student to get any help if she needs support. Very sad. Great church! Pastor Joe and the leadership are holy spirit led, with two campuses to attend. Love the ethnic diversity! Beware: this is a new charismatic movement, based on 7 mountains of dominionism, with heavy emphasis on money collecting/tithing (which is outdated concept if you believe Jesus Christ is our High Priest & no more animal sacrifices are needed; tithing was a “salary” for High Priest), and political dominance, and very light on the Word of God. This is a “new era religion” that emerged no so long ago (!). Not Holy Spirit filled like other reviews mentioned. No mentioning of Holy appointed times ( I was attending during Feast of Trumpets), no touching on prophecies, the worship was very sleepy. I have been attending for a few months to get a better feel after the original visit which left me with heavy feeling but I won’t be returning. I've been to this church probably about 10 times. The last time I went is probably the last time I will ever go. There's a difference between charismatic and spirit filled. This church is charismatic, but not spirit filled in my opinion. Specifically my wife and I had an unpleasant experience where the woman at the front was very rude to us in telling us to move seats. Situations like this separate the charismatic from the spirit filled. Every church should very carefully decide who they put at the door of their church as this person, in many cases, is the face of the church. In my opinion this church is looking for warm bodies and not spirit filled people. On the other hand they do have a good youth ministry and the few times I've met the senior pastor he's been a very genuine person. Also, my wife said she liked their women's group alot. There are definitely some positives about this church, but it doesn't seem like their turning out spirit filled people. Just animated charismatic people that are a bit rude when their true spirit is tested. It appears the seeds here are not being planted in good soil.
