Pastor Alex, along with the other pastors, are all truly wonderful people. Above all, you can genuinely feel the presence and power of the Holy Spirit during the sermons, which makes this church a very special place. Parking can be a bit challenging, but there are many families with children, and the church is lively with people of all ages. It’s a great environment where you can grow together with the church community. There are also monthly events, so I would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to get more involved and build meaningful connections. Everybody is GENUINELY friendly here! I felt welcomed from the moment I walked through the door! The church is next to Green Lake, so I got there early and went for a walk with my kiddo. The kids check in is really easy! The head of the children’s ministry Ben.. walked me through it from start to finished. Very friendly and chill. Pastor Alex was super dope too. Has a genuine passion for people. The people here come across like they’re NOT afraid of people from various or gritty backgrounds. They want you to feel welcomed. This church was so unpretentious and set up to accommodate and support families! Im a Single Parent and felt like I had hands on help with knowing what to do without being or feeling overwhelmed. The messages are on point too! I listened to several messages from their website before coming. There’s parking in the neighborhoods too! Check this place out. I left feeling so welcomed! My wife and I have been attending here for almost a year now. When we moved to Seattle this was the first and last church we visited because we felt that God wanted us to be here. Redemption is a young church plant, reformed in theology, big on the Gospel and Jesus, focused on life groups and discipleship,and is growing together in some great ways. It is lead by two pastors on staff and 1 (soon to be 2) lay elders. Finding a church can be really challenging as we all come with different backgrounds, experiences, and preferences. Redemption isn't perfect (just like all other churches), but it is being lead well and I believe God is doing some great things here. My wife and are are about a medium on the outgoing scale, and Redemption has done a great job of welcoming us, getting us plugged in to a life group, and giving us opportunities to serve the church body and the community around us. I think Redemption offers some great things as far as churches go, but the main reason I would recommend you visit this place is so that you can be a part of a body of believers who are seeking to follow Jesus in all of life, not just certain segments. I see this happening at Redemption and it is refreshing and exciting! Welcome home! Friendly, caring people, beautiful church and top notch teaching of solid theology by gifted pastors. You must come check it out for yourself. Most welcoming church I've been to.
