Although I don't attend this church every Sunday, I have participated in their hosted events, Wednesday nights, Friday prayer nights, and various sermons. Pastor Jeremy is incredibly kind and graceful. He truly lives the Lord's teachings, and his honesty and transparency are unmatched. His last sermon at their previous waterfront location moved me to tears, especially with its relevance to current world issues, both locally and globally. Seattle has long been known for its skepticism towards faith. However, at The Journey, you will learn together, grow together, transform together, and experience the presence of God with complete peace, joy, compassion, and understanding. Christ's love is at the center of everything The Journey does. You should definitely give this Church a try, especially if you're in Seattle (Green Lake area) and wish to feel warmly welcomed and intentionally included. Every event has been enjoyed, and I appreciate their core values and priorities. Naveen's voice is also so soothing and emotionally impactful. He's truly been gifted a voice from God. I haven't been yet but I know the pastors, and they are AMAZING people! I can only imagine the life and joy that is in a house that they're leading together under God! Oh Journey Church, I hope you're thriving! I've moved out of the area and won't be attending Journey Church anymore, but if I was staying, I would definitely attend this church. Pastor Jeremy and his wife are just flat out fantastic and are truly trying to successfully impact non-believers lives as well as believers, wherever they can make a difference. I hope to find a good bible-based church where I land 🙏 God is good! Previous review: I just came back from the Christmas party at Journey Church. I had so much fun! I felt instantly included, participated in interesting conversations, played fun games, had an Ugly Sweater contest as well as judging ugly desserts which were highly creative. I've only attended service here once, but the sense of community I felt tonight will have me attending Sunday's service! And who knows, maybe the Sunday after that or a Wednesday Bible Study, who knows? I'm looking forward to more peace and joy in my life. I LOVE this church! I can honestly say that I have never experienced a community so welcoming. The worship is powerful and the teaching is transformative. I have grown so much in my walk with Jesus and always feel loved at The Journey. This ministry is deeply committed to seeing lives and the city of Seattle transformed by the gospel! The presence of God is in this place! The leaders have an anointing and are fulfilling their call to minister, love and disciple the people of their community. If you are seeking more in your spiritual walk, needing guidance, or have never walked into a church - come to this one.
