I was looking for a Bible study group and stumbled upon this church on Google. The people here are incredibly welcoming, the sermons are beautiful, and there are so many great activities to get involved in. My spouse and I have been members of many churches over the years, but a member of' this one (FBC) for over 30 years. Why? Because we have watched its progression through the years, always basing its work on Jesus' teachings, supporting the needs of our community and being welcoming to ALL. The sermons are always dynamic and relevant to the challenges of our world today, and always with a challenge to us all, not just to hear, but to act. And what drew us in, long ago and continues to this day, is that the people are genuinely warm and welcoming, the music is both thoughtful and energetic, the message resonates,, and I always leave with my spirits lifted. Come, visit, and see for yourself. Mary Fiore My husband and I are new to the Madison area and we have been looking for a church to attend here. We had visited a couple of other churches, but First Baptist was the ONLY church where the members noticed we were new and were kind and welcoming. The sermon was biblical and sound, they made sure to read the entire passage so everyone could hear and follow along, and the worship was very meaningful. This church has such a passion like Christ for loving others, especially the marginalized and they aren't afraid to say it. I know we enjoyed our time there and will definitely be going back! I attended my first service there today and was welcomed by so many people. It was an atmosphere full of love and togetherness. I'll be back next Sunday and many after. This is yet another secular Madison church. I am mournful in my soul for this city. I can't seem to find even one Bible affirming church. It's like Sodom. Woah to you oh Madison, turn from your wicked ways and return to the Lord that he might be merciful upon you
