What visitors say
Awesome local church. Pastor David and his family are doing the Lord’s work. The community is an ever changing body of undergraduates, transfer students, grad students, recent grads, and various locals. If you are seeking a small church community focused on preaching directly from the Word, small enough where you learn each other’s names, this is a great Church to spend some time with. Not to mention the excellent gourmet light roast coffee and pastries everybody Sunday. If you like good church and/or good coffee, stop by one Sunday morning and say hi! Expository teaching (verse by verse through the bible) is great! After a lifetime of "topical" preaching that failed to give me the big picture, this small church delivers the goods. I love this church. Clearly preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ and loving Him and people well. Good music, teaching, and talking with warm people.Peace, love, and Jesus in Berkeley CA! So good!
