The Father’s House Oakland is an amazing church with a welcoming, diverse community and a powerful message. The pastors and leaders genuinely care, and there are so many ways to get involved—from small groups to family events like baby dedications. Since being there, I’ve been baptized, participated in a women’s leadership small group, and dedicated my baby to be raised with the teachings of the Bible. I’m also looking forward to enrolling in the Discover and Essentials classes. If you’re looking for a church home in the Bay Area, I highly recommend it. 🙏🏾 And I can’t forget the band and singers! Always a vibe!! The Father’s House is incredible—real people, real faith, and a real sense of belonging. Pastor Jules (MG!) brings powerful messages that connect on every level. The worship is alive, the kids' program is excellent, and the whole team—from service to security—operates with love and purpose. What stands out most is the community. The members are genuinely welcoming, grounded, and filled with joy. You don’t just attend here—you become part of something bigger. If you’re looking for a church that’s alive in spirit and rich in connection, The Father’s House is the place. Yes this church was great experience for me grandson and my daughter invited me to attend i always do the online church in the bay area but this in person here was so awesome and I definitely want to attend more of this church...many blessings! And always stay prayed up!! 🙏 My first time attending. I loved the vibe upon entering the doors. I like the set up as well. The praise and worship was on point! Looking forward to attending more often. Update (This is over a year later) I went back at least 3 times afterward and decided it wasnt for me. The praise and worship was still great, but on one occasion the pastor was away and the person preaching was more like a comedian at a stand up show. I don't know if it was his wife in the front row, but she was cracking up and unfortunately, I brought a guest with me. She waa annoyed, and the person on my left was asleep. We left before the service was over. I went back for my 4th visit to hear the pastor preach again, and he has too many jokes peppered into the sermon. I'm not interested in someone trying to make me laugh. The Word is enough for me. Some people may like that, but not me. Very welcoming place, very receptive people, great words, great music with a lot of unction. A good place to come with the family. I also liked the parking, try to arrive at least 15 minutes early and you will get a good spot. Because I noticed that those who arrived later already had fewer spots.
