Pastor Caleb is so chill and laid back. He keeps it real and when he speaks to you directly..you get the sense of him being honest and you realize he is just like us with everyday issues..but he explains how God has helped him through difficult times and there is hope and salvation for us all..He has helped change my life with a Bible study and teaching at every service that Pastor Caleb makes fun, interesting, and easy to understand. My son Shane and myself have been attending simi shepard for over 2 years now. I was baptized in june 2024 and I am so grateful.. we attend every Sunday at 11:30 and sit in the front row. we love church.. Caleb has made church great again..! thank you and God Bless You All . And another thing I love is a sermon notes that keeps me engaged. I truly love this church and am deeply grateful for the community, teaching, kindness, and genuine love for people here. It has been a place of growth, healing, and encouragement for me, and I can honestly say so much good is happening through this church. One small piece of feedback I wanted to share thoughtfully is regarding the secular music played before and after service. While I understand the intention may be to create a welcoming and upbeat atmosphere, I believe worship music can accomplish the same thing while also keeping hearts and minds centered on God from the moment people walk in until they leave. There is so much modern worship music today that is uplifting, joyful, musically excellent, and just as engaging or “catchy” as secular music — without pulling our attention back toward the world’s themes, emotions, or atmosphere. Music affects people deeply, often more than we realize, and church feels uniquely special when the environment remains fully focused on Christ throughout the entire experience. This isn’t coming from a place of criticism at all, but from love and appreciation for what this church already does so well. I’d personally love to see the atmosphere continue moving toward worship, reverence, peace, and spiritual focus from beginning to end. Thank you for all you do for this community. Awesome church ⛪️ 🙏 🙌 Pastor Caleb is the best. Diverse with great music and message for all. Kids section is also lovely and helpful for parents. Get there early as parking can be a challenge otherwise. A wonderful place, nice people, a very spiritual praise team and excellent worshipers, they really preach only the word of God. Pastor Caleb is young but he is knowledgeable and very committed to the Word of God.
