I've visited Valley Metro Church twice now, and each time the preaching spoke directly to my heart. I truly felt like the message was meant for me. I'm so grateful to God for leading me there and for the amazing ministry happening through this church. 🙏 Though still fairly new to the church, here at Valley Metro my husband and I have found more love and support than we even knew existed! I personally find myself being brought back to my early days as a young Christian, when the worship was clean and pure and the sermons impacted my life and my heart directly where I needed them to. I tell you folks, this church is an absolute treasure in the heart of the San Fernando Valley and the Holy Spirit is moving there in purity and in power. The church is free of so much of the nonsense that goes on in some churches today and instead, you leave each Sunday feeling loved and challenged to be a better Christian! So thankful to call Pastor Brian and Kristi our Pastors! Pharmacy is hands down the worst! 4 people chatting it up behind the counter. 3 customers waiting! Called in the prescription 24 hours prior and they put it on hold and didn’t bother to call. Then asked me to come back the next day! Finally the pharmacist came and released the hold but after already waiting for 20 minutes it’s another 10 minutes! Can’t make this up. Cvs needs to clean house in the pharmacy on Roscoe and de Soto! We are so happy to have found a church we can identify with and feel the holy spirit. Having moved from Glendale to Northridge, we began our search for a new Calvary Church due to the commute! We searched for a new holy home in the valley, but didn't truly feel like a community, nor identify with the ones we visited. Finally, we found one we attended for a period until we didn't appreciate the jokes of other dominations, so we continued our search until we were finally found Valley Metro (Calvary Church). Valley Metro Church has been our home for years now! Pastor Brian and his beautiful, humorous wife our incredible! Valley Metro is a bible teaching church that reflects just that! Come and see! I am so happy to see that Valley Metro Church is a blessed house of Christians being a part of the united body of Christ. I attended church here in the 1950's and 60's when it was the a Disciples of Christ Church. I was saved here and baptized by Reverend Hensley. My father who was a master sheet metal worker made the steeple and donated it as his "mite". The building looks great! Thank you and God bless all of you.
