Wonderful welcoming traditional Christ-centered church! It is a church where people know your name and the names of your children, where people like and support each other, church filled with lots of traditional songs (no electric instruments) and children's laughter. Come join us and see for yourself! This is my home church--and I love it! Solid preaching, lots of hymn singing, and wonderful activities and community groups. Church of the Good Shepherd is a beautiful budding community. You can expect a warm welcome, a liturgical and deeply meaningful order of service, plenty of kid energy, lots of opportunities to use your gifts, and familial feasts and celebrations. Weekly communion is nourishing to our family. As a very new Anglican congregation, the identity of the church is being formed all the time as we are unwrapping the tradition we are a part of. The church is rich in tradition, but focused on the essentials, which makes it a welcome place for people with many faith backgrounds (or no faith background!). I'm thankful for the anchor this community has been for the last year+. A community-focused, Bible-based church centered around honoring the beauty of the Anglican heritage and engaging the entire family. Their music is amazing! Great community, great theology, and great service. I've come to really appreciate everything about the Anglican way from its solid theology rooted in scripture, its reverence of Christ and His church, and of course, the Book of Common Prayer. The flock at the Good Shepherd is the best! We are are community of single worshippers, families, young and elderly alike. Nothing beats coming together as the body of Christ to worship together every Sunday.
