What an amazing church! Absolutely love the pastor and staff! Very welcoming and intentional about staying true to the Bible and seeking to glorify God in all they do! Free coffee on Sunday mornings! If you want a hypocrite church this is it. They do not live what they preach. Colossians 5: 22-23 by fruit you should know if it of Christ outside of church they are hateful people and judgmental. I can differently tell you my kids and I will never be attending here. Friendly atmosphere, the people are truly inviting, a true community, great place for worship and amazing sermons. The emphasis is on the WORD OF GOD which is what I was craving since moving to Charlotte. If you are looking for a place to get fed the word of God and not fluff or get hyped up, come down to New City church (Matthews or the South Park location). You won't leave the same We love that the word of God is taught in love and truth, Pastor Gabe is down to earth and relatable, and the music is fantastic. The downside is its hard to connect as getting into a group is an annual event, and there's no after church mingling opportunity like bagels and coffee or something. If you are looking for a place where there is transparency, then New Charlotte is it. Chris and his wife are truly people dedicated to this city. They are genuine and full of love. Chris is gifted in his way of teaching and is true to The Word of God. If you have kids, it is a place they will learn and grow in their relationship with Christ. The leaders have a heart for kids and it has been a great experience for my family.
