What visitors say
Beautiful place with welcoming people. We went to the 8am service in the 300 year old church. It was beautiful. Such a beautiful community. The choir program for children is phenomenal and we are grateful for the loving leadership of the church. Every service leaves me uplifted and inspired. This is a wonderful community of loving, open-minded and welcoming people. The church building and grounds are beautiful, as is the historic church and cemetery. I was blessed to be married here many years ago and am glad to see this congregation thriving under wonderful leadership. As a life-long - now former - Roman Catholic, I am so happy to have found Christ Episcopal Church, the Episcopalian faith, and specifically the two wonderful priests serving this community. The staff, council, and parishioners are all so very friendly and welcoming. Sermons are traditional, but modern - in a thoughtful, knowledgeable, and sometimes humorous way. Mass is refreshing and judgement-free, allowing all who attend to feel comfortable and welcomed. If you've been away from your Church for a while, or 'not feeling it' with your current Church, I highly recommend you visit Christ Episcopal Church! Father Furman, Father Brooks, and this congregation are all such blessings! Everyone is so kind and welcoming, and this parish family is so united in serving the Church, each other and the community with a Christ-centered focus I love this church!!!
