What visitors say
For 4 generations, we have visited several local churches and been longtime, active members of two in which our family has held our baptisms, studies, growth, wedding, funerals. We return to FBC because of its smaller, more intimately welcoming size, its focus on Scriptural basics, it’s plethora of age-inclusive opportunities for growth and sharing, and the importance of the Word rather than entertainment. We would urge anyone interested in basic Bible studies and activities in a loving atmosphere to explore some of the worship and spiritual growth gatherings here. This church was fabulous. They peached the WORD in an easy to understand and engaging way. Everyone we spoke to was very welcoming and helpful. We love this church. We have been here for about 5 years. We have made some life long friends. We also have a special needs class. Wonderful people kind generous and giving you should always stop by a good church especially if you're in Charleston it is known for the holy city for a reason. This is my home church and the people really care. There is a lot going on here and taking the Word and applying it to the World and some of the issues facing individuals and families.
