What visitors say

This churches work with "Room In The End" community service was a good experience. The church transported about 8 men in from Roof Above Ministries to give a prepared hot meal, showers, coats socks and a comfortable bed for the night. The women volunteers where friendly and genuine. I feel at peace here. Love that services present an interpretation of the bible that relates to every day life Please tell your workers who check people into the Food bank which typically are Caucasian women checking people into at the food bank never see people of color working or volunteering here to please stop telling only black people to make sure we don’t sale the food given, and the one woman never tells the hispanic people this and found this very racist on top of one lady commenting we just making sure you all do things by law. Our family is a Veteran family with a high reputation with many veteran friendly organizations and would not do such a thing let alone I worked hard most of our lives to support our family and have degrees. I was also racially discriminated sitting in our car to wait for food bank to open and someone called the police on me when I had not done anything wrong but sitting in my car and minding my own business. So disrespectful to know that racist people exist at this so called church. Also, it would be wise for them to put their daycare far away from the food pantry to not expose children that go to preschool here to strangers. We stopped going to there food pantry for over 2 years now and back then the volunteers had us sign documents agreeing that we would not sale the food. I recently went back a few months ago and one lady was telling black people out loud in front of others make sure we don’t sale the food. Just wanted to draw attention to this concern because it has made me feel discriminated against and uncomfortable to go back. Thanks It was a church. It had adequate space for the event. It was well manicured. Great preschool! My 2 year had stranger anxiety and they worked with her to help pass that through! Very nice teachers and really care about the kids!
